Some people believe that there are some effective home remedies for tooth nerve pain. Cloves contain a special compound called eugenol, manytoon which is present in nutmeg, bay leaves and cinnamon. This compound not only gives a warm, aromatic flavor, but it has natural anesthetic and anti-inflammatory properties as well. Apply clove oil to the toothache area for five to ten minutes. You can apply clove oil every two to four hours. rexdlcom

In a pinch, you can apply a paste made from ginger and cayenne. Do not apply the paste to your gums, since this will only aggravate the pain. If you’re unable to find a dentist in time, use over-the-counter painkillers. Acetaminophen and ibuprofen are effective medicines that are safe to use on a long-term basis. You can also try some gels that are diluted with water and applied directly on the pain area.

A paste made of crushed garlic or a manytoons  clove of fresh garlic may help. You can also apply a clove of fresh garlic by chewing it around the affected area. Another home remedy for toothache is vanilla extract. Vanilla contains alcohol that numbs pain. Real vanilla is preferred to imitation vanilla. Apply a small amount of vanilla extract on a cotton ball or finger. You can use a variety of herbal medicines to relieve toothache pain.

A cooling peppermint tea bag can also help ease toothache pain. The mint flavour of peppermint tea is soothing. You can also place peppermint tea bags in the freezer for a few minutes before applying them on the affected tooth. This remedy is anecdotal and can give you temporary relief. If you do not like peppermint tea, you can use a strong black tea instead. It contains astringent tannins, which help reduce swelling. acmarketnet
